We are a vibrant team creating games together, with an ambition to inspire generations to come and build a better tomorrow. We are looking for you, a talented Senior Tech Artist, to join our Stockholm Studio to work on new and exciting things.
As Senior Tech Artist you will act as a connector between artists and developers to so that art can easily be integrated and implemented into our games, to high technical standards with the artistic vision intact.
You will create and champion the use of effective pipelines in partnership with the Art Director and the team. You will be a driving force in finding solutions and tools for the visual development of the game.

Responsibilities
Set up and implement strategies on how to optimize art for quality and performance.
Drive the development of tools, shaders and pipelines needed to produce art content for the game.
Collaborate with the Art Director (and the team) to implement the artistic vision adherent to technical restrictions.
Act as a coach and mentor to the team in your area of expertise and bridge the gap between developers, artists and designers.
Optimizing and being part of developing cinematic production workflows.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have some of the following:
Have extensive experience crafting video game art and have experience in shipping big scale game products from conception to release.
Can visualize projects with craft and care as well as delivering them from concept to execution.
Have an ability to make a direct contribution to the creation of art visualization through hands on examples
You are highly organized and able to work with team(s) of experts, to direct multiple pipelines and resources.
You are a great collaborator and communicator with an ability to adapt to any context - be it interpersonal, within teams or on a studio level.
Can create, document and enable processes and tools for long term success and sustainability
Have a very good understanding of game engines like Unreal, and software like Maya and Blender
Knowledge about programming/scripting languages
You have a deep understanding of graphics, and enjoy keeping up to date with changes in games, art and technology
Interest in the Mojang game titles and in pixel art
You are someone that cares about people and can help us build an inclusive, open and friendly work environment
