About the Assignment
This assignment is within the automotive aftermarket domain and focuses on leading the technical direction of complex software and system initiatives. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership to secure high-quality delivery, support innovation, and ensure reliable, compliant solutions in close collaboration with architecture, engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Job DescriptionDefine and communicate the technical vision, architecture, and best practices together with the Solution Architect.
Mentor Product Owners and developers, and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business functions.
Lead the technical aspects of project planning and execution.
Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development cycle.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Serve as the main technical point of contact for high-priority projects.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement of technical solutions.
Support technical audits related to legal compliance.
RequirementsDeep understanding of vehicle diagnostics, SWDL, software architecture, and system integration with 25+ years documented experience.
Thorough understanding of the automotive aftermarket and vehicle project life cycle.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects within the automotive aftermarket domain with 15+ years experience.
Strong proficiency in relevant technologies, programming languages, and frameworks.
Documented experience of SUMS/CSMS and similar legislation and audits.
Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Collaborative and proactive way of working.
