As aSenior Team lead Software developer in Test work closely with product experts, designers, and other roles as needed, so that each team can assume full responsibility for their specific products. The team gets the freedom to make their own decisions regarding product, technology, and process. About the role
In the role of Senior Team lead Software developer in Test, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional development team and cooperate closely with different stakeholders and other team members to release the product at a higher level of quality.
On a daily basis you will:
* Be responsible for QA and testing, establish and maintain test automation framework
* Participate in the definition of product requirements and acceptance criteria
* Help to build quality assurance processes and competence
* Provide QA expertise for the team, train and coach other test engineers
* Create test documentation and provide active support to keep knowledge base up to date
What you need to have to succeed in the role
You will be a perfect fit for the role if you have a background in software development and experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch.
You also have:
* Excellent knowledge of testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, REST Assured, and different database concepts
* Previous experience as a QA or Software Engineer, knowledge of creating test cases and implementing them
* Knowledge of mainstream programming languages such as Java, JavaScript and familiarity with Behaviour-Driven Development
Proficient with testing automation - to do security-, performance-, load- and end-to-end testing
As a person, you are proactive, and not afraid to take new challenges. You have excellent collaboration and communication skills and are fluent in English.
