Description of Position
Senior Systems Engineering Consultant.
Position includes;
Systems Engineering, Project Management, Mentoring, Analysis on Top Level for a Multi-National industrial corporation based in Lund in Southern Sweden
Qualifications
At least 20 years experience of practicing Systems Engineering in developing commercial and military complex systems
Experience from automotive, defence and manufacturing sectors preferred
Proven results of mentoring organisations in the introduction and application of SE in concept and system development
Specific areas of expertise required include SE process development, requirements cascading, design reviews definition, trade study methods
Proven skills in developing and applying model-based approaches, both object oriented and structured analysis techniques and relevant infrastructure including tools such as DOORS and DXL
The position requires a thorough knowledge of relevant standards and guides including ISO/IEC15288 and INCOSE SE Handbook, relevant languages including SysML and a good network in the SE community
The successful applicant needs to have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently but must also possess excellent team working skills, and at least an MSc.degree or equivalent.
Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
Other information
The current assignment is a temporary position for 4 months from 2009-09-07 until 2009-12-31 with potential extension.
The assignment will be carried out on-site at an industrial company in southern Sweden
