We want you to help uswithour long term development of the core technology as well as in projects materializing the technology into platforms and capabilities.
Tobii Tech Platform R&D develops the core platforms for both internal and external customers. The Eye tracking platform consist of Tobii custom made cameras, NIR illuminators and firmware/software that is processing images on chip or host and calculating signals such as eye position and gaze coordinates. The competence in Platform R&D teams are within system engineering, algorithms, digital design, optronics, embedded development and electrical and mechanical design - and yor mission is to ensure that Tobii core technology continues being the world leader! The role and responsibilities
• Your long term responsibility is to understand and contribute to our roadmap: what effects and limits the system performance and which solutions will take us to new levels.
• In your daily work you will beresponsible for system design, in cooperation with the product owner define the requirement specification and make sure that the system is well balanced and meet the requirements.
• Communicate with the teams around expectations on the components.
• Be a part of integration, see the pieces come together and make sure they fit excellent.
We look for someone who
• Are experienced working with optronics development and system engineering.
• Will challenge current solution and introduce new technology that contributes to Tobii eye tracking system.
• Have at least ten years of experience as an engineer in product development and at least three years of working with system design covering both hardware and firmware/software.
To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to enjoy toengage your peers, and meet with suppliers and customers worldwide. You must also have a deep interest and knowledge in technology in general!
