The position is within the System Development part of the IT-IS Department which is responsible for the IT operations for the whole company. The environment is Microsoft based (Windows, SQL Server and Exchange), and most development is done in .Net and C#. We have a number of mission critical applications being developed, and we are looking for a senior developer to strengthen our group.
The main duties are:
• to be part of the more important system development projects
• to help out in the design part of projects
• to help out in the system requirement parts in some projects
For this position we ideally expect a suitable background to be:
• Solid experience (at least 3 years) of .Net or C#
• Documented experience in realizing business logic in program modules for larger systems
• Documented knowledge of WCF, but mainly Web Services
• Good experience with SQL servers and writing SQL queries
• Experience in working in international projects
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of object oriented design patterns will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of SharePoint development will be an added advantage.
The position will demand that the person has the flexibility to work in large as well as smaller projects. The developing team is located both in Stockholm and in Belgium. The IT department is centrally located in Stockholm, Spårvagnshallarna.
