Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a System Designer within the RAN Compute HW & Execution Environment area to help us develop our future products. Your role will include development activities such as: product system architecture & solutions, requirement analysis, system hardware & execution environment (low level SW) design, co-ordination towards integration & verification, simulations, tools design, Supply support, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
You will
Develop architectures and products within RAN Compute HW & EE System area
Perform system architecture & requirements (High Speed/Serdes, timing & synch, ASIC/FPGA requirements etc.)
Design system, dimensioning and guidelines
Perform investigation, analysis and quality work
Support integration, verification and tests
Predevelop and improve handling
Support production and analysis
Drive simulation, estimations and tools for system design
Continuously work on improving standardized ways-of-working.
Help other designers and design areas, contribute with competence and collaboration


To be successful in the role you must have
BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
At least 5-7 years of Digital design / system design and architecture HW & low-level SW
Great leadership skills and experience of leading technical studies and investigations
Good Knowledge of digital components such as FPGA/ASIC's, transceivers and timing components etc.
Knowledge of system design & verification methods
Good knowledge of digital product supply chain (production incl. test)
Knowledge in schematic drawing and experience of measurement instrumentation in a laboratory environment.
Knowledge of the latest industry trends
