Required competence
• Senior level experience from telecommunication and preferably ST Ericsson
• Senior engineer
• Knowledge of HSPA chipset in system level
• ARM+DSP Architecture knowledge
• Baseband
• System On Chip
• Low Level Power Consumption
• Protocol Stack
• L2
• L3
• Cadence
• Good to have RF knowledge in addition to the requirements above (but not only RF)
Job Description
• Reviewing and understanding the current solution for HSPA chipset in system level.
• Defining the milestone-style working plan to deliver the system level solution for HSPA+ chipset based on current solution.
• Defining ARM+DSP Architecture and system design for Mobile chipset application.
• Helping on optimization the current solution on system level.
• Delivering both system design for the implementation team in China.
Job Description - phase 2
• Standardization work.
• Patent related algorithm design and simulation, cooperating with the customers Network standardization people.
• System Design for Soft Defined Radio Baseband algorithm and architecture, multi-tasking baseband for the future UE chipset.
• Communication with Chinese team in implementing the system design and testing as well as refining the solution.
• Optimizing the solution both in performance or cost perspective.
• Designing algorithm or system solution for some other standard such as LTE etc.
