Who are we?
At Volvo Group, we are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions that enhance the driving experience. We are part of the organization responsible for defining and developing several systems the driver interacts with such as the instrument cluster, infotainment, camera-based solutions and others. We belong to the Driver Interaction & Infotainment organization within Vehicle Technology at Volvo Group Trucks Technology.
What are we looking for?
We are now looking for a Senior System Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive technology by designing and defining the architecture of complex automotive systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for next-generation vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and design the system architecture for automotive applications within HMI & Infotainment domain.
* Develop and document system requirements according to Volvo guidelines and tools.
* Collaborate with hardware, software, and vehicle engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.
* Conduct system-level analysis, concepts, risk assessments, and performance optimization.
* Ensure compliance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the automotive industry to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a System Architect or similar roles in the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including ECUs, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
* Expertise in system modeling tools (e.g., SysML, Enterprise Architect) and application lifecycle management tools (e.g., SystemWeaver).
* Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 21434).
* Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and software development processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex systems.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
