We are now seeking a Senior System Administrator with a database focus to our Production Design team within Service Operations. The team consists of 7 Senior System Administrator and one senior DBA assuring 24/7 application and database run-time of our poker applications. The department is responsible for software deployment, monitoring, operations design and third Line application support.
Your place at the table
The Senior System Administrator has system knowledge both for poker, software and hardware including databases. We are working in a cutting edge environment meaning the latest technologies. These technologies are used to achieve the highest possible availability of the systems and databases. Surveillance of live systems, dig down in more advanced incidents and attending in internal projects will be a part of the daily duties. You have gained a good understanding of MySQL operations, database optimization and architecture during your work life. Your background gives you the more senior profile we need in our team.
Your gaming skills and experiences
• 5 years? experience of IT support and system administration in Linux and application management. Network, security, project work and solutions development together with good knowledge of practice methodologies and tools for database administration.
• Experience from MySQL operations is strongly qualifying.
• Linux server system administration and open source application management Monitoring and maintenance of critical applications
• Automation & Scripting - analytic skills and programming knowledge with at least one script (Bash, Python, Perl, PHP, Java...).
• Good understanding of disciplines, processes, and procedures of working in a large data center environment.

You are a self-starter, analytic, structured and can fluently express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. You are used to take initiatives and can prioritize and bring to a successful conclusion the assignments that come your way. With a communicative and team playing mindset you will be our perfect player!
