The objective for the role is to design SW for embedded time critical applications, such as BLDC motor controls and associated control algorithms, resource management and control SW for embedded power controllers for Dish washers. Tasks consist of requirement definition, analysis, concept development, implementation, verification and test.
Key operational responsibilities:
• Drive the execution embedded SW systems development activities.
• Develop detailed SW systems specifications.
• Create SW design options to meet design specifications, manufacturing processes and assembly requirements.
• Test and evaluate SW designs and concepts to together with HW team meet the specified function/feature, quality and cost targets.
• Complete assigned tasks to schedule, within budget, meeting all technical specifications, standards and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance and timely support during preproduction and initial production series to ensure successful product launch.
• Support and integrated work with other units such as Quality, Manufacturing, Product Mgt, After Sales.
Reporting to: Electronical Development Manager
Competencies needed:
• Academic degree in electronic engineering or equivalent combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as SW designer with time critical systems and preferable algorithms for brush less motor control.
• Good understanding of HW functionality is required to manage the tasks.
• Experience in developing high volume consumer products.
• High degree of computer proficiency using development tools for SW development.
• ARM experience is preferred.
• Quality validating methods.
• Embedded SW test methods and design validation methods and concepts.
