Senior Surface Designer
As Senior Surface Designer you will lead the surface design and secure the quality of product surfaces and parts. You will be supporting the Design Director and Industrial Designers in digitally realizing their visual and functional ideas, as well as safe guarding that outcome throughout the development projects. You will work in close cooperation with our development department and provide them with feedback on surfaces?, part execution and quality. The positions main focus will be for products within Business Unit Sport&Cargo Rest-of-World and Americas and BU Active with kids, but input and support may also be given to other Business Units.
We are looking for a self- motivated team player who has extensive work experience and proven success from surface design in related fields. You have a detail oriented and structured approach and feel comfortable working towards deadlines. In addition you are familiar with relevant manufacturing processes and how they pertain to product design. This role requires an understanding of design principles and a well-developed aesthetic sense as well as training, experience and a genuine interest in 3D CAD tools with a focus on surfacing, preferably from SolidWorks and Alias. You are fluent in Swedish and English and have an appropriate academic degree combined with several years? experience from a similar role.
