Description
As Senior Supply Manager within Converting Equipment Purchasing you are responsible for developing the business relations with our Converting Equipment suppliers in order to achieve superior performance in terms of quality, delivery and cost performance. You will lead continuous improvement activities and drive the implementation of our commercial strategy.
We offer a creative and stimulating international work environment. We work in teams with colleagues from other functions i.e. product development, industrialisation and order fulfilment for production and spare parts.
This position will require approx. 20% international travelling to meet our suppliers and visit our operational units.
Main responsibilities
• Drive sourcing and contracting activities based on our commercial strategy and technical roadmap
• Drive and improve our relationship with our suppliers
• Optimize our cost structure and our supplier base
• Drive common agendas with our strategic suppliers
• Continuously strive for improving our internal processes and workflow
Qualifications
The person we are looking for have strong communication and social skills to help build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
You have a high level of commercial and negotiating skills. In your work, you are structured and have an analytical mindset. In addition to that you possess a high level of drive and energy as well as a good business understanding and an ability to collaborate with others on all levels.
You have a Technical or Economical University degree and at least 5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably within a large organisation. As you will work closely with the technical projects you need to have an understanding of how project process work and how different competencies interact. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is mandatory: fact based negotiation, stakeholder management and project management.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required. Knowledge in other languages is a bonus.
