Your next challenge?
We in Sourcing at Telia Company are the sourcing experts and responsible for Category Strategy, Contracting, Supplier Management and Supplier Risks. We are striving to be a trusted, efficient, and integrated part of the business, engaged at all levels in the company. In Sourcing, you find a team specialized on due diligence, supplier risks and sustainability, a team that consist of Due Diligence Officers and Supplier Assurance Officers that together work proactively for a reduced supplier risk and an increased sustainability awareness across our supplier base.
The Sourcing Sustainability team has just started its transformation process into a proactive team that works with Category and Sourcing Managers company-wide, i.e. in Nordics and Baltics, and our supplier base worldwide. Responsible Sourcing is a foundation of Sourcing at Telia Company and for this position, being part of developing a diversified "tool box" for internal and external trainings, supplier declarations, partnerships with 3rd party auditors, a scalable audit program and more - all with focus on IT Security - are included in the job description.
The job will also offer working in Supplier Relationship teams with our critical and strategic suppliers, be part of contract negotiations related to our Security Directives, answer questions and guide our Sourcing Managers in the IT Security area going to our suppliers for audits and work closely with the Due Diligence Officers to risk grade our supplier base. We have started this journey, but we need additional colleagues to work with us to take the team to the next level.
Your new team and position:
You will be part of the Sourcing Sustainability team and work very closely with Telia Sourcing, Telia IT and Security departments, Legal, our Suppliers, Stakeholders and in some cases also our Customers. The position requires traveling.
You will have a shared responsibility for understanding needs and risks of our Categories, defining a supplier risk strategy for the IT and Security area, driving actions for an increased knowledge within Telia Sourcing for this area, build strong relationship with strategic suppliers and manage and apply the "tool box" of activities in a risk based and planned way on our supplier base.
And who are you?
The ideal candidate has previous experience from working in international organizations with complex business models. Whereas the main focus for this position is to have strong competence to use best practice in managing supplier risks within the area of IT and Security, you also need to have strong communication skills and be able to build win-win-relationships both inside the company and with suppliers. We are committed to Responsible Sourcing and this is the key focus of this role.
Bottom line is that we are looking for a business-minded candidate with an extensive experience from auditing and supplier management in IT and Security topics who can add seniority to our team. Someone who has "done it before" and can help to build a world-class supplier risk mitigation platform for Next Generation Telco.
