hela Sverige The Environmental protection department is responsible for the global environmental protection issues within Volvo Car Group, such as management of environmental legal requirements, strategies, targets and operational development.
Now we are looking for a new colleague that would take over a global role within our department. Your mission will be implementing new ways of working and contributing globally from environmental point of view. Senior Specialist Resource & Waste Management is a new role that will work specifically to strengthen our work within resource efficiency and waste management.
Main responsibilities
As a Senior Specialist Resource & Waste Management you will lead the development and implementation of Volvo Cars' Resource (Waste) Management Directive globally. Within environmental protection, you will globally be responsible to:
• Develop Key Performance Indicators for resource efficiency
• Support internal stakeholders and regions with strategic and operational resource efficiency activities
• Work independently, cross-functionally and strategically to support and coordinate major improvement projects
• Maintain global resource waste statistics, reports, analysis and follow-up
• Support interpretation and implementation of new legal and other requirements related to residual products and waste
• Develop and implement local waste sorting guidebook
• Support audit activities
• Build a network and collaborate within different departments, regions and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
• University degree from relevant studies
• Experience within environmental protection and resource management
• Experience from manufacturing and waste management is meritorious
• Leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders
• Experience and good understanding of Project Management
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Driving license "B"
