The work of forming the strategy for Pension and Insurances resides in the Center of Expertise for People Management. The department is responsible, together with our Executive Management team, for setting the strategic direction for HR in order to meet the company target of being the Employer of Choice. In the department you will sit close to competencies in Talent Acquisition, Competence and Organisational Development as well as traditional Compensation and Benefits.
As Senior Specialist Pension & Insurances You will be part of HR's global team of expertise for Total Rewards, located at our Headquarters in Gothenburg. The team is globally responsible for all reward and insurance related strategies and processes by working close to each country and regional responsible. The role collaborates with labour affairs and global finance to drive policy development as well as governance of local practices to support our Employer of Choice targets. You will collaborate cross functionally, globally and in cooperation with a number of external suppliers which indicates that an open mind set and holistic approach is of essence to be successful.
Main responsibilities
• Develop and lead Volvo Car Group Pension & Insurance strategy
• Manage our suppliers and keep track of the changes in laws and regulations
• Assure the operational processes in a number of systems, both internal and external
• Constant process improvement is expected including update communication and information material
Required qualifications
• University degree in Finance, HR or equivalent
• Deep knowledge and experience in the subject area Pension & Insurances
• Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
• Basic knowledge in HR systems, HR-regulations, accounting and tax
• Experience in working with analytics as base for decisions
• Basic understanding of financial principles
• Experience from Employee Benefits processes locally and globally is meritorious
