Mission
The Senior Growth Specialist (f/m/d) plays a central role in driving foodora's customer acquisition, retention, campaign performance, and overall growth strategy across all business verticals. Acting as a bridge between data, strategy, and decision-making, they turn insight into actionable initiatives that maximize marketing efficiency and impact. They collaborate and initiate projects across functions to ensure alignment and progress for marketing efforts to directly improve business performance.
In short: Turns data and strategy into growth by driving high-impact initiatives, aligning priorities across business verticals, and delivering actionable commercial insights that support growth.

Main tasks
As Senior Growth Specialist (f/m/d), your areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Strategic impact: Proactively originate and drive growth marketing initiatives that directly advance company priorities such as increasing active users, order frequency, and revenue across business verticals. Ensure growth initiatives align with long-term commercial goals while independently taking initiative and executing own projects beyond existing frameworks.

Operational responsibilities: Plan, execute, and continuously optimize campaigns and growth marketing investments. Translate performance data into project budget and impact modeling, as well as actionable insights related to both marketing and commercial improvements.

Collaboration: Work with Head of Marketing, Regional Growth teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure alignment and effective execution of growth initiatives.

Subject-matter expertise: Apply strong analytical skills, combining quantitative data (incl. marketing, commercial and operational data) and qualitative insights (stakeholder input, market trends) to support decision-making and optimizations for marketing strategies.

Project involvement: Lead and coordinate growth initiatives and strategic experiments from planning to execution, ensuring objectives across teams are achieved on time with measurable business impact.

Strategic governance: Ensure alignment with group-level frameworks and internal guidelines, while adapting and applying best practices to the market context to achieve business objectives.

Data & insights: Own recurring and ad-hoc marketing deep dives enabling the marketing team to track progress on strategic goals and performance. Exercise strong data-based judgment to lead improvements in marketing strategies.

Culture & leadership: Act as a change catalyst - challenging the status quo, raising the bar, and embedding Foodora's leadership principles in strategic projects and everyday work. Support the organization with your unique insights and skillsets on ad-hoc projects outside of the core role responsibilities when required.

What you bring to the table
5+ years of relevant experience within growth marketing, performance marketing, commercial strategy, business analytics, management consulting, or a similar data-driven role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proven experience translating complex data into actionable insights, budget models, clear recommendations, and relevant business decisions.
Experience working with growth, as well as commercial KPIs, such as customer acquisition, retention, frequency, revenue, ROI/ROAS, CAC, campaign performance, and similar performance metrics.
Proven ability to independently lead projects and initiatives from analysis and planning through execution and evaluation, involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience working with budgeting, forecasting, business cases or impact modelling.
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization/analytics tools. Experience with SQL, BI tools, experimentation or similar analytical tools is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
