Description

Base Materials within Supply Chain Operations at Tetra Pak are striving to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in corporation with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms. With your base in Lund, Sweden, you will be one of the key players within Quality and Food Safety in achieving this and will have a substantial impact on the base line in these areas
We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Quality and Environment team. In this global role you will work with suppliers and customers as well as internal stakeholders. With your food safety competence you will contribute to the development and qualification of new products, materials and suppliers.
Main responsibilities
• Develop suppliers in line with Tetra Pak food safety strategy and roadmap.
• Secure base material regulatory compliance in cooperation with suppliers and Tetra Pak regulatory expertise
• Lead and coordinate food safety and regulatory activities within Base Materials and act as the organisations internal and external interface in these areas
• Perform audits at supplier sites with focus on food safety
• Drive quality assurance in the food safety area.
• Build and share knowledge within food safety globally within Tetra Pak.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly dedicated person with analytical skills and a high drive. You are a trustworthy individual who can work independently as well as in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. To communicate on all levels in the organisation is natural for you and you are comfortable making presentations. You have an interest to follow international developments within your area of expertise and an ability to extract, share and explain relevant information to colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you must have base material knowledge, food safety competence and understanding of food - material interaction. You have a university degree in chemistry, material science, food safety or similar and at least 5 years of experience from a food safety/regulatory position. If you have experience from the packaging, food or medical industry it is considered a merit. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
