Description
Could you picture yourself in an international environment with high level of responsibility and freedom to affect the way of working within the Environment area?
Base Materials (BaseMat) within Supply Chain Operations at Tetra Pak are striving to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in corporation with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms. With your base in Lund, Sweden, you will be one of the key players to contribute with environmental competence to the development and qualification of new products and suppliers.
We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our team. In this global role you will work with suppliers and customers as well as internal stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
• Develop suppliers in line with Tetra Pak Environment strategy and roadmap
• Lead all Environment activities within Base Material
• Be the link with and spokes person for Global Environment
• Drive quality assurance through follow up, measurement system development and data collection
• Manage FSC volumes through certificate handling and monitoring
• Mentor and share environmental competence within BaseMat as well as across Tetra Pak
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly dedicated person with a very good knowledge in the environmental area, a high drive and determination. You are a trustworthy individual who can work independently as well as in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. To communicate on all levels in different cultures comes natural to you. You possess a diplomatic mindset and are able to coach and challenge existing ways of working.
To be successful in this role, you must have environmental competence, some base material knowledge, and understanding of lifecycle analysis. You have a university
degree in chemistry, material science, environment or similar. We think that you have at least 2-3 years of experience from working with environmental issues, preferably within a large international company. Experience from packaging, food or medical industry is considered a merit as well as WCM or Lean experience. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
