Publiceringsdatum2012-10-02Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are now looking for you that want to work as a senior cost controller, in an international environment. The purpose of the role is to control, forecast, and report project financials and Client Change Orders as needed within the organization. In this role you will report directly to the Project Controls Manager. You will work close with Project Management as well as various personnel within the organization, both local and global.
The work will include
• Directing and monitoring all cost control activities related to the projects during the entire project life cycle including:
• Project cost control and financial reporting
• Establish and report Project Original Budget, Current Budget, Actual and Forecasted Financials
• Monitor cost and budget follow-up and keep track of the project progress i.e. keeping track of all actual costs against the period targets in each of the projects phases that have been set out in the budget.
• Cost trend reports and identify and evaluate trends and their impact on project costs
• Assist in identifying cost risks, and perform risk analysis.
• Report on deviations, underruns and overruns
• Through effective time management make sure important project deadlines are met.
• Support the Project Management with understanding of project financial data and explain variances.
• Establish and implement procedure for Change Management and keep records of the Client Change Orders
• Maintain Project's Client Change Order log, analysis and document how the changes will have an impact on project cost or revenue changes etc.
• Set up WBS structure in SAP in line with Company Coding Manual, Project Controls and A&F procedures.
• Work closely with and back up the Billing Specialist with client billing as needed and be updated and briefed on Client Agreements as well as payment- and other contractual terms.
• Support in quotation work with Scope definition and estimates in in-house tool Genesis
• Identifying improvement opportunities within the Cost Control area
Vem är du?
We are looking for you with tertiary qualifications such as KY, BSc or higher, in the field of accounting or equivalent work experience. It is required that you have a working experience of minmum 5 years with cost control, project forecast and billing. You need to have experience from working in an international environment and on a project basis. A sound knowledge of the offshore industry is an advantage.
Required is a fluent and efficient oral and written communication skill both in English and Swedish.
Experience from SAP and/or Oracle is needed, as well as advanced skills in Excel.
It is of importance that you as an individual are detailed, analytical and are used to working accurate, methodical and in an orderly way. Because of the nature of the role as a cost controller it is of importance that you possess good communication skills, and that your ability to work with time management while working under pressure is well developed.
