Om tjänsten
We are looking to fill the position of Senior specialist cost control. This is a fulltime assignment starting in November. You will initially be employed by Kontorsfixarna, thereafter your employment might after application be transferred to the company.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
The purpose of the role is to control, forecast, and report project financials and Client Change Orders as needed within the organization.
You will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and liaises with the Project Management as well as various personnel within the organization in Gothenburg and globally, as well as external stakeholders and bodies.

Responsibilities and tasks:
• Directing and monitoring all cost control activities related to the projects during the entire project life cycle.
• Support the Project Management with understanding of project financial data and explain variances.
• Train others in cost control functions if needed.
• Establish and implement procedure for Change Management and keep records of the Client Change Orders
• Maintain Project's Client Change Order log, analysis and document how the changes will have an impact on project cost or revenue changes etc.
• Set up WBS structure in SAP in line with Company Coding Manual, Project Controls and A&F procedures.
• Work closely with and back up the Billing Specialist with client billing as needed and be updated and briefed on Client Agreements as well as payment- and other contractual terms.
• Support in quotation work with Scope definition and estimates in in-house tool Genesis
• Identifying improvement opportunities within the Cost Control area including developing procedures, methods, tools and templates.
• Follow the companys Management System regarding policies, procedures and work instructions.

Kvalifikationer
The qualifications and experience requirements are the following:
• Tertiary qualification (KY, BSc or higher) of accounting or equivalent work experience in lieu of relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience working with cost control, project forecast and billing.
• Experience from SAP and/or Oracle.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience from working in an international environment and on a project basis.
• Sound knowledge of the offshore industry or similar is an advantage.
• Fluent and efficient oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish are required.

To perform well in this position you need to have the ability to focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction. You need to be a detailed and analytical person with excellent investigation skills. You are used to working accurate, methodical and orderly. You need to be able to plan and organize your own work through excellent time-management skills and have the ability to work under pressure and deliver quality work to ensure the documentation is handled in a timely fashion.
