To reach world class we also drive development in increased global process standardization, simplification and automation.

The department for Eurasia Procurement shall mainly support the business units, which at present are seven, in Business Area Eurasia and cooperate with the other departments in GPO to utilize the purchasing power of TeliaSonera as a Group.

Main task and responsibilities:  

• Perform detailed spending and process assessments in order to optimize the cost level for the benefit of our Business Units.
• Participation of development and execution of Sourcing Strategy and Purchasing Process in TeliaSonera BA Eurasia 
• Participate in or lead important contract negotiations and vendor meetings on in BA Eurasia and on TS Group level
• Develop and manage relationships with vendors providing Equipment and Services
• Participate in the identification and technical evaluations of suppliers
• Participate in vendor assessment, vendor quality improvement, and involvement in cost reduction activities
• Actively finding ways to improve operational efficiency in terms of Capex & Opex throughout the region
• Align the Eurasian sourcing strategy with Group Procurement plans including category strategies and vendor / technology
• Contribute to TS Procurement development activities to ensure that best practices and tools are used
• Report the KPI’ s and agreed business issues to the Department Director Eurasia in GPO and Stakeholders in BA Eurasia as spend per category, spend per supplier, saving results, etc.
• Continuously follow and report the global supply base development in the own area

In order to succeed in this role you need to have;

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, advanced degrees strongly preferred
• 5 + years of international procurement experience in technical departments including project & team management and working directly with senior management, especially in Eurasia region.
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities as well as analytical skills with problem solving ability
• Open, innovative and structured mindset
• Ability to meet the unexpected and work under stress
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to create results and be target oriented
• Service delivery attitude towards internal customers
• Experience in managing vendor relationships
• High integrity
• Fluent in English, Turkish or Russian is an advantage

The work is mainly performed within the operating area of BA Eurasia why adequate travelling is required to ensure own local presence and relationship building on top level per country.
