We are looking for a Senior Solution Leader to develop and maintain solutions for engineering efficiency, virtual trust, and digital twin capabilities at the Volvo Group.

Volvo is driving several exciting transformation projects and initiatives to digitalize our business processes, leverage the value of data, and become a fully data-driven company. We are part of Core Platform Area PLM/PDM Department working to increase efficiency through our current set of digital and IT solutions.
Our existing IT solutions comprises of a mix of varied technologies like Microsoft, Java, and Commercial Off the shelf (COTS) IT solutions and SaaS solutions from CAD and PLM vendors where PTC and Windchill is the PLM backbone. We are now starting up a heavy investment to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture and to further increasing the use of our PLM capabilities to build a modern digital collaboration platform to increase R&D Efficiency.
We are supporting the Volvo Group's Digital ambitions to become a fully agile, data-driven company, and we are building the foundations for the virtual trust, supported by improved use of digital twins, i.e the digital data representing a physical object as well as an improved digital thread, the integrated view of physical products' digital data through its lifecycle.
Responsibilities as a Solution Leader - Virtual Configuration Domain
Main point of contact for business requirement & needs
Understand business needs and way of working with Virtual Configuration tools
Ability to drive key users' networks and understand their needs
Involve in backlog preparation by confirming objective and requirements within agile teams
Secure that the solution delivery plan is aligned with the level of business criticality for the solution
Follow up the IT deliveries, support and maintenance
Propose needed service level targets (through SLA)
Manage the License renewals
Propose and prioritize improvements for the solutions (new functionality, version upgrade, configuration...)
Ensure effective end-user support including training needs
Actively engage with various stakeholders globally and navigate in a multi-cultural environment

Who are you
You have experience within the Product Development and Configuration Tools
Relevant business understanding of virtual configuration management to provide virtual contexts to different end applications and formats.
You worked in Agile environment and have Agile mindset
You have proactive approach and complex problem solving skills
You have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Engineering degree or similar within relevant areas
You have excellent communication skills and speak English fluently
