Who we are
Within Complete SW Integration & Release, we specialize in designing rigs and are committed to base technology integration, core systems application integration, software, and electronic domain integration, all the way to delivering comprehensive software and electronics solutions to maximize the test value. We are actively involved in crafting test strategies, enabling continuous integration, and managing the complete baseline. Additionally, we are expanding our software factory community and hold responsibilities across R&D for constructing our continuous build and configuration flow.
You will be part of Integration, Verification, and Orchestration, a team within Complete Software and Integration. This team's mission is to coordinate testing, integration, and releases at the full software and electronics system level for all Volvo platforms.
We are currently searching for a colleague who can assist us in streamlining the process from functional requirements to well-defined release candidates in our car products, all through continuous integration and automatic testing flows.
What you will do
As a Senior Software Leader, you will be a vital part of a team committed to ensuring the daily delivery of the complete electrical system. Your role involves orchestrating the organization to integrate all deliveries seamlessly and ensure they are ready for their intended purpose.
Our future vision will profoundly influence how we approach integration and software release. As a Senior Software Leader, your mission is to empower, synchronize, and oversee function and software implementation at a complete electrical system level throughout the integration points/sequence in the project plans and maintenance phase.
You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders both within and outside of R&D.
Who you are
To excel in this role, you should have experience in software development, and familiarity with Volvo Cars' development processes and programs is advantageous. Knowledge of working within an agile framework is highly regarded. Effective communication, effective collaboration skills, and fluency in English are essential.
The role requires you to have a holistic perspective as well as analytical and structured thinking. In it, you will be able to utilise your leadership, active listening and coaching skills. You will also use your experience in software Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) from an integration perspective, as well as knowledge in evaluating the definition of done to pass an integration event in an electrical system.
