All our development work has different aspects of the critical interface between man and machine but has the same goal; to replace labor-intensive manual steps with state-of-the-art digital counterparts to automate and simplify the process of performing blood and body fluid differentials. The Application teams at CellaVision develop the algorithms in our analyzers that automatically locate and pre-classify cells.
About the position
You will be a key part of one of our Applications teams. You will participate in, and efficiently run development projects, delivering high-quality products to the market.
Key tasks:
• Software development in C++, C#/.NET, and Python. Develop applications in new areas as well as further development and maintenance of our existing applications.
• Implementation of graphical user interfaces.
• Development and implementation of algorithms using methods e.g. image processing and machine learning.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Bug hunts and code optimizations.
• Document your implementations in terms of requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and design descriptions.
• Participate in small research projects, maybe as supervisor of a master's thesis project?
• Share your knowledge and experiences with us so that we can improve together.

Qualifications
• You have a Master of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in developing and maintaining Windows applications in C++
• Experience in working in with software architecture
• Proficient in English, written and verbal
Meritorious
• Experience in C#
• Experience in image analysis and Machine Learning
• Experience of working in an agile environment
• Experience in automized testing
• Experience in GIT
