We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Applications and PL/SQL programming.You will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining Accounting Nordic accounting platform.The accounting solution is the cornerstone of our IT-landscape, where huge numbers of transactions meet to be prepared for analysis and reporting. Well controlled, automated, high volume data flows are needed to support Swedbank's future business development.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Design, develop, test and maintain applications using Oracle technologies

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages

Support and enhance existing Oracle-based systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and finance stakeholders

Participate in system integration and data migration activities

Analyse technical requirements and propose efficient solutions

Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications

Provide support for production issues and system improvements

Plan and estimate the work together with the team.

Document the solution

What is needed in this role:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Applications

Proficiency in PL/SQL programming

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working with Oracle General Ledger (GL) and accounting modules

Knowledge of financial systems and accounting processes

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
