In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Drive Developer Experience for a community of 2500+ engineers, supporting thousands of builds daily-and scaling for more.
Lead technical direction across multiple engineering teams focused on CI/CD orchestration, source control systems, and collaboration tools.
Design and maintain scalable CICD practices, ensuring performance, security, and compliance across the development lifecycle.
Champion engineering excellence, embedding quality engineering principles, continuous improvement, and innovation into everything we build.
Lead migration efforts from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
Mentor and guide teams in source control best practices, code quality, and platform usage-fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
What is needed in this role:
Several years of experience in software engineering and modern development practices, including languages such as TypeScript, Java, and Python.
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience-what matters most is your impact and expertise.
Deep expertise in GitHub (Actions, repositories, integrations).
Strong understanding of Developer Experience (DevEx) and how to create frictionless development experiences.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation workflows.
Ability to see the big picture-from code to deployment-and optimize every step.
A growth mindset and strong leadership skills-able to mentor, inspire, and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical ideas into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. .

Knowledge of developer portals, such as homegrown solutions or Backstage.io.
Experience working with modern engineering practices, including platform engineering with a strong focus on improving developer experience.
