THE JOB
The position takes part in the Engagement Area in Betsson, which works on everything that engages the customer. They ensure that customers come back to Betsson as they provide them with a world-class customer experience.
Doing so you will, for example, create tools for the commercial users, and work on campaigns, rewards, and the wallet system in a very transaction-heavy environment.
You will prepare their journey to containerization, increasing the scalability of the systems while also maintaining their high quality. To accommodate new requirements, you will constantly re-evaluate the system's design and work on new features.
The engagement team consists of several smaller teams that work differently designed for what they want to achieve; Some do scrum, some are data-driven, Lean, Agile, Kanban, and so on. Depending on what you're interested in and passionate about, the position is very adjustable.
YOUR PROFILE
Seen to the technical elements of the role, you are a skilled and experienced C# .Net developer with a backend focus. In addition to this, you should have hands-on experience with one or some of the following:
• DevOps: Docker containers and Kubernetes, with experience or creating containers, configuring, Kubernetes deploys, sidecars, and YAML
• Databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL such as Couchbase, Cockroach, Mongo. Know the difference and benefits of relational databases and document databases.
• Messaging: Kafka/RabbitMQ/MSMQ. Principles such as at least once delivery and deplublication
• Enterprise solutions or distributed systems. Large-scale transaction-heavy systems. Towards the architecture and microservices.

You know what you're passionate about and you dare to try and challenge the methods of work. You see what needs to be done and push for new ideas on how to do it.
