At Episerver, our platform is the product. As we advance the next generation of our industry-leading platform for delivering digital experiences, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build upon and expand our vision. As a senior software engineer at Episerver you will be responsible for designing, implementing, releasing, and maintaining our platform functionality.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will
Design and develop simple, secure, scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective software solutions
Develop full-stack web applications and services with a variety of languages, including but not limited to C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Develop, deploy, and maintain the services that enable Episerver's SaaS and PaaS product lines
Contribute to the architecture and design decision making process
Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers and team members
Pursue growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques and best practices
About you
You have 5+ years of experience in the development of scalable, production services
You can breakdown complex user stories into sub-tasks of appropriate scope for efficient delivery
You are approaching an expert level competency in core language areas
You are actively sharing your knowledge and skills to help team members grow
You maintain an awareness of the state of technology, tools, and techniques
You are knowledgeable in the development and operational aspects of cloud-based software
You have experience designing services and APIs with concern for performance, availability, observability
You require little oversight beyond high level direction
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
