The OMS/Brokerage team at SunGard Front Arena is developing an electronic trading client for sales and order execution, targeting brokers and financial institutions. We build critical software that manages large amounts of value every day, with very high requirements on quality and efficiency.
ArbetsuppgifterPosition Description
We are now investing strategically in the product and have identified a need to modernize our OMS client, in terms of both functionality and code base. You will be expected to evangelize, educate, and learn from your peers, with the purpose of developing a modern, testable and agile code base. You will also be expected to learn and take interest in the realities and conditions of our customers, in order to create a product that will optimally serve their needs.
The product is well established on the European market, but our geographic reach is expanding, making the future challenging and focused on new requirements and features.
ProfilPosition Requirements We are looking for experienced software developers with a solid foundation in computer science and modern software design and practices. You are confident in algorithms and data structures, as well as discussing the best way to add unit tests to a GUI client.
Relevant work experience (min 5 years of work experience) includes Windows C++ programming, MFC, large systems, and networking. Preferred qualifications include financial industry experience, with extra plus for order management systems.
On the personal side we value candidates who are passionate about software design, result oriented, enthusiastic, and with a personal drive to constantly learn new things.
