hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Remote Technology Sweden AB i Stockholm Looking for a Senior Engineer. We expect you to write maintainable and testable code and proactively work for higher quality in the codebase. You should take part in the ownership of the total product quality.
We expect you to keep up to date on relevant technology and contribute to the technical learning environment, for instance through hosting "tech talks" on relevant topics. You might also be called upon to help onboard new colleagues and mentor/coach if feasible.
You should provide feedback to others, e.g. through pull requests, and be open to receiving and listening to feedback. We expect you to assume good intent. That is, you should both give and receive feedback with the mindset of it being to improve.
We expect you to think end-to-end. A feature isn't done until it is providing value for our customers. Collaborating with the rest of the organization is important. In this sense, we do expect you to participate in writing and updating our internal and external documentation as functionality is released or changed.
For a Senior Software Engineer, we expect
• Fully capable of taking substantial features from concept to shipping. This includes being able to estimate work, proactively sharing progress, and adjusting plans when needed.
• Deep expertise within at least one programming environment.
• Basic proficiency in at least one additional programming environment.
• Should have a good understanding of the main codebase they are working with and the architecture and principles we are following. Should know the quirks, edge cases, and trade-offs that are in the codebase and be able to make sound judgments on what to improve and what to leave be (for now).
• Should have an overview of other main code bases. For instance, back-end if mainly working on the main front-end app.
