Your future team
Inside Axis Analytics Solutions, we're a team of engineers who collaborate seamlessly for data-driven development and evaluation of our analytics solutions. Our scope includes data curation, algorithm development and evaluation as well as a toolchain to support our everyday activities.

Your Role: A Hands-On Software Architect
To complement our existing strengths, we are looking for you to join our crew and bring your own unique approach and experiences all the while respecting Axis core values - Act as one, Always open, Think big. As a senior software engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing full-stack scalable solutions, from concept to delivery. Together we will tackle complex system issues, and your expertise in design patterns, software product architecture, and Kubernetes will be invaluable. In our team you will not only be an exceptional coder but also a mentor and leader who can inspire and grow our team. We want you to contribute across our scope and be happy to chip in where you are needed the most. Whether it is to enhance our tools for evaluation, visualization and annotation or our algorithm product solutions.
Who are you?
Although we do not know you yet, we believe you are a person who is trustworthy and respected in your professional role. We expect you thrive when collaborating with your team and are experienced, pragmatic and proactive in suggesting solutions to the technical challenges we are tackling. We hope you are curious and passionate in the production of high quality, robust and reusable code and someone who has built software products from design to validation. Continuous improvement is important to you and it's natural for you to share your knowledge so that we learn alongside you and you with us.
More concretely, we would like you to bring:
* Excellence in Python and perhaps some C++ on Linux platforms
* Strong professionalism in design patterns and clean coding
* Practical knowledge of SW system design and architecture
* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Git
* Understanding of database and event systems
* Excellent collaboration and communication with fluency in English and Swedish is a bonus
It would also be nice if you have some:
* Frontend development experience with React
* Knowledge of cameras, web, and cloud technologies
* Experience in computer vision and video analytics software and some insights into Artificial Intelligence libraries
