The company is now expanding at their site in the city of Luleå Sweden, and have an open position for a Senior Software developer.
About the position
As a senior developer, you will be challenged in your problem-solving and analytical skills. You will develop the very latest technology in telecommunications. Specifically you 'll be working in the area of physical layer processing. You will have a central role in an agile development team which analyzes, leads and solves customer challenges within areas like virtualized 5G, accelerated computing technologies and Open-RAN, for example.
The development process is characterised by abstract programming, which makes it appealing to you who are motivated by methodical working methods such as; Break down problems, analyze, programming, testing and documentation of the results. You work in emulators and simulators, where you can simulate the latest processors in radiotechnology. The role spans a broad contact network where you will have contact with other developer colleagues, architects and system administrators to solve your and the team's tasks.
Your qualifications
• Education background MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Software Engineering or similar
• Deep knowledge with L1, Physical layer signaling processing
• Expert level in C/C++ development of complex commercial software products
• Expertise in algorithm optimization, code profiling and in analysis of memory usage violations
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Personal skills
To succed in this position you will have to be persistent and have a genuin wish to learn. You will also have to be analytical and patient in your mindset when confronting a problem or challenge.
