As Senior Software Developer/Lead developer within our Business Applications & API department, you're part of a team of highly skilled developers and engineers. Together you develop and maintain effective professional solutions and tools for your Verisure colleagues within sales, alarm installation and service.
Your work is of great importance as it enables and improves your Verisure colleagues' daily work. Your impact on our business will be instant as you find ways to improve our systems, making sales reps and service technicians more effective, and ultimately allowing us as a company to take new initiatives and reach new heights.
This is a role where a senior developer such as yourself can enjoy a great deal of freedom while you work with development, architecture and testing of software. You have the possibility to make everything from the UI, middleware, APis and stored procedures in the databases. You will mostly work in the Java layer. Furthermore, you do requirements analysis, -specification and documentation.

What you bring
You have previous experience working with agile software development within large, complex, real time systems. You're highly skilled in Java (8) programming, and you also have experience with Spring, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, databases (e. g. MySQL, Sybase, Cassandra), REST and messaging (e. g. RabbitMQ).
Working with software architectures, system design patterns and database architectures, your seniority allows you to quickly acquaint yourself with the business and how your work affects it. You bring expertise on working with large systems, as well as the ability to apply it in your daily work.
As a person you are an adaptive team player, who enjoy working with others, exchanging ideas and opinions. You are comfortable in your field and can communicate your know-how in a logical and confident way.
