Senior Software Developer
SKF is taking its extensive experience and combining it with the latest technology in mobile apps, big data and advanced analytics to provide our customer with the right information at the right time so decision making is made simple. To be able to bring these new generation digital solutions to the market we work agile, with focus on delivering value to our customers with each increment.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be part of the team that builds SKFs digitalization platform and with the team be responsible for building and operating the service.
Your day-to-day work
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Manage individual product priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Contribute and work with the overall architecture alongside the team.
We expect you to have/be
University degree, preferably computer science or related field
At least 5 years' experience from working with multiple programming languages.
At least 4 years' experience from working with software architecture
Speak and write English fluently.
To be a successful Senior Software Developer, you also need experience in and understanding of development of distributed systems, micro services, and Amazon Web Services. You are also willing to dive into frontend or backend development. Travels may be required to support project activities.

As a person you like to work in an innovative environment with focus on high speed in delivery. Although we value your deep knowledge, we value more that you have worked with a variety of things. You can display that you are able to learn multiple programming language and be able to demonstrate knowledge in writing systems for large scale solutions.
