To provide our customers with unique customized technology we are setting up Coesia Software Innovation center. The center will work on the most advanced technology and developments related to our automation solutions.
The job will involve both working on the latest Industry 4.0 solutions and working exploratory in finding new solutions, prototyping and validating new ideas for the Coesia Group companies.
This is an opportunity to operate in a real startup, having all the technological and financial strength of a multinational group, working with both incremental development and attempting radical innovation. The team is setup to have cutting edge skills within cloud solutions, AI & Machine learning, Automation as well as core software engineering skills to become a software center of excellence for the Coesia group.
Coesia is a group of 18 companies each providing leading equipment for factories and production for consumer goods.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer who will drive innovation software projects for CSI. This involves building prototypes and solutions based on new technology and ideas. You will be part of building the architecture for new solutions for the Coesia Group, and as part of this evaluate and enable new technology concepts. We are looking for someone with wizard software skills who appreciates working in a fast-paced, test and re-test environment. You will work with some of the best in the field and work on some of the most challenging projects in the group.
Main Tasks
• Drive and participate in innovation projects together with the Coesia companies
• Develop software in various projects, prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Explore ideas and collect knowledge on new technologies
• Continuously build skills within Cloud, AI and Machine Learning and apply to projects
• Develop architecture and platforms that Coesia companies can build products and configurations on
Ideal Candidate Experience and Requirements
• Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in work experience.
• At least 10 years professional experience of software development related work.
• Strong architectural skills and experience from building software platforms
• Skills within the following languages and environments (Java, .NET, C/C++, Python, Git-lab, Docker)
• Ingenuity and creativity
• Logical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as a team player
• Automation industry experience is meritorious
