As Senior Software Design Engineer, you will have the responsibility for specifying, designing and integrating embedded software systems for our family of construction equipment. Analyzing and translating functional requirements into high-level software designs forms a major part of the work.

You will also take on the role as coaching and leading other team members.

Most of the software is written in C. However, Python-scripting and graphical and model based tools like Rubus ICE and MATLAB/Simulink are also used. Requirements modeling and configuration management is performed with the help of advanced tools, such as SE-Tool and ClearCase.

Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or similar
Several years of experience from developing software for embedded systems
Good analytical skills
Good skills in abstract thinking and modeling techniques.
Experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards related to software development, such as ISO 26262 etc.
Extensive experience from requirement management and documentation of software
Good communication skills, both spoken and written
