You will work with the next generation of our Massgate technology. Massgate is our system for connecting thousands of players in online games as well as functionality to enhance the player's multiplayer experience.
The development of Massgate involves many interesting challenges that are not found in traditional high-performance client/server architectures so we are looking for a creative and experienced person with a passion for creating the worlds best online game experience. Required skills and experience:
Proven leadership skills
Expert C/C++ programmer
Expert knowledge of the IP stack.
Must have the ability to work well within a team.
Experience in writing scalable, fault tolerant, and high-throughput networked 24/7 applications.
Helpful additional skills:
Linux/FreeBSD experience.
SQL experience.
Experience in writing the support tools for networked 24/7 applications.
A passion for games and games development.
