Security & Privacy’s, Strategy & Compliance team of highly experienced Security Managers, is driving a transformational security program to ensure that our customers and business are protected and feel safe to explore the digital world of the New Generation Telco. Our Security Managers act as an interface with business and technology, understanding and influencing business, providing tactical security support and engaging the organization in change.
Responsibilities
The Security Manager’s job is composed of a variety of activities, including tactical and strategic activities in support of Telia Company’s Security.
Strategic Support:
Work with the Head of Strategy & Compliance to develop the Telia Company strategy and identify security projects and activities that address identified risks and business security requirements. Manage the process of gathering, analyzing and assessing the current and future threat landscape, as well as providing the CSO with a realistic overview of risks in the enterprise environment. Develop and maintain Telia Company security instructions and guidelines based on best practices to protect business objectives, ensure operating efficiency, contractural and regulatory compliance. Monitor and report on compliance with security policy and instructions (as well as the enforcement of policies throughout the organization)
Tactical Support:
Assist Country/Group Function Security Heads and resource owners in understanding security compliance gaps and responding to audit failures reported by auditors. Provide security communication, awareness and training on all levels of the organization Support Country/Group Function Security Heads in their work with various stakeholders to identify information asset owners to classify data and systems as part of a control framework implementation. Develop and oversee the best practices, processes and ways of working throughout the Security Community Work with the Head of Strategy & Compliance, business stakeholders and country/group function heads of security to define metrics and reporting strategies that effectively communicate successes and progress of the security program. Provide support and guidance for legal and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support. Work with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that there is a convergence of business, technical and security requirements; liaise and align existing technical skills with future (security) architectural requirements. Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for projects.

Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of seven years’ experience, with five years in an information security role and at least two years in a supervisory capacity. MSc in Civ. Engineering or relevant field. Certification in any: CISSP, CISM, CXS, SABSA Security Architecture
Desired skills and experience
Ability to understand business imperatives and build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations Strong leadership skills, understanding of organizational dynamics, and experience in building teams and driving innovative transformation. A strong understanding of the business impact of security policies, technologies and tools. An excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies. Expertise in Governance, Risk and Compliance. Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines Thorough understanding of ISO 27001, including practical experience implementing and auditing an information security management system In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: InfoSec, Cyber, Network, Cloud, IoT
