Your role
As a Security Engineer, you will help the development of new security capabilities to support delivery and ensure that the tools and approaches used are effective. This role will give you the opportunity to get hands-on and build security into cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.
Your responsibilities
In this role you'll be:
Establish automated test, build and deployment of secure CI/CD pipelines
Good knowledge/experience of the Application Security space and tools, e.g. OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST etc.
Build dashboards and monitors for security alerting.
Investigate potential threats and risks.
Implement security policies.
Support external Pen-tests being conducted and review results.
Perform security (self) assessments when necessary
In short: keep improving the security for our end-users.
Within 1 month you'll:
Understand how Juni works, get integrated with your team, and hit the ground running when it comes to your role.
Help implement the company DevSecOps plan.
Within 3 months you'll:
Other crew members say they're learning a lot and are more productive because of you
Take a proactive role in securing the digital environment to ensure effective root-cause and trend analysis of security threats and issues, liaising effectively with interested stakeholders.
Within 6 months you'll:
You will challenge and propose changes to existing processes, where they do not contribute to the rapid delivery of a secure service.
Your qualifications
What we need to see:
3+ years working within a Security Engineering or AppSec function.
What we'd love to see:
A developer background/strong understanding of modern development practices
Good experience with automation of security controls in CI/CD pipelines
Good knowledge of DevOps CI/CD workflows, tools and integration points and experience integrating security into SDLC
Detailed experience with AWS cloud infrastructure security administration and management, from design phase to implementation
Experience designing, building, and implementing DevSecOps workflows
Experience with container security and management solutions
Familiarity with penetration testing tools
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
