We are now searching for a senior scientist within Upstream process development for an assignment at our customer within the Pharma Industry in Solna. The assignment will start asap and extend for 12 months.
As a consultant you will take leadership of activities for the development, refinement and execution of laboratory methods in Upstream development within big scale mammalian cell culture.

• Active participation in project teams, influencing choice of experimental plans, studies and strategies; having impact upon decisions taken in the project
• Perform Large-scale cell-culture (Bioreactor)
• Can act as supervisor for coworkers, team leader or project team leader as required
• Can provide timelines and resource estimates for project activities to project leader
• Contributes to new knowledge and is responsible for development in the area of expertise
• Responsible for study design, data evaluation and compilation of study results.
• Responsible for relevant preclinical / CMC reports and / or regulatory documentation
• Collaborates with experts from other disciplines (both intern and extern) to solve complex technical or scientific problems
Knowledge and experiences
• MSc/PhD in relevant discipline Experience
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry with experience from upstream process development projects
• Experience working with large-scale cell culture (Bioreactor)
• Established expertise and extensive theoretical / practical experience in a scientific or technical area
• Experience in report writing and regulatory documentation.
• Experience from multifunctional project teams, e.g. as a coordinator, subgroup leader etc.
