Job Description
As Senior Scientist, you will be working with molecular diagnostics development. This position connects advanced research with process development and requires high-level execution of molecular technology experiments, experimental planning, and quantitative interpretation of data.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you have a PhD in relevant area with 1-3 years of postgraduate experience. Experience in cancer research is particularly meritorious. Industrial experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or related field is a very strong merit.
Further you have documented laboratory experience in DNA technology development, such as PCR, Q-PCR, and next-generation sequencing. You are skilled in standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Q-PCR, and gel electrophoresis. You have documented ability to plan, analyze, and interpret experiments. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Statistic knowledge is a strong merit.
To be successful in this role you are detail-oriented and analytical. You enjoy working in an laboratory environment and you goal and result oriented and a team player. You are friendly, positive, and fun to work with. You enjoy actively participating in day-to-day operations and enjoy working in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
