For our clients in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry, we are looking for in Vivo Biologist in Diabetic Nephropathy.
The main focus of Diabetic Nephropathy is in vivo research in the area of kidney disease and the team is responsible for building necessary capabilities in terms of acute and chronic models and in vivo techniques to assure high quality and timely in vivo support to projects.

Publiceringsdatum2014-01-23Dina arbetsuppgifterThe role as a research scientist includes the responsibilities of the scientist to plan, conduct, and appropriately store and summarize experimental data. In addition the scientist needs to continuously develop experimental expertise required for practical delivery of high quality results to enable project decision making.
Responsibilities include:
• Design and execute high quality in vivo pharmacological studies in an established chronic mouse disease model and support team in developing new/existing in vivo model/methods in diabetic nephropathy for testing of novel compounds.
• Work independently and contribute to the design and planning of experimental procedures by incorporating the views of others.
• Analyze, interpret and present experimental data and communicate results and store data
• Collaborate closely with other in vivo and in vitro teams within Bioscience
• Analyzing endpoints and/or biomarkers in urine and blood samples
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a Bachelor or Master of Science or other appropriate education in relevant disciplines. You have experience significant in vivo experience and excellent experimental skills in the use of animal models and in vivo techniques in rat or mouse. Additionally you have good understanding and practice of animal handling and care, preferably skills in animal technology e.g. dosing and surgery of animals.
We are looking for an organized person used to advanced logistics and working with multiple tasks. You have also a high degree of flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively is required to succeed in this role. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
