We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Scientist, Bioassay, reporting to Cell Culture Service Delivery Manager. This role is a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Bioassay Scientific Lead, QA, project managers as well as with other functions within the organisation.
The main duties will include:
• Plan, perform and report Potency assays for clients
• Development or tech transfer of Potency assays
• Validation of Potency assay for release of biopharmaceuticals
• Representing the Bioassay function in project teams
• Maintenance of equipment
• Generation of Standard Operating Procedures and Methods
Qualifications:
• Education, MSc, in cell biology or several years of experience in relevant area
• Proven skills in cell based assays
• Experience of GMP
• English and Swedish language skills
The individual will be expected to interact at all levels of the organisation and should be able to demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and good communication skills. The position will be based at the Södertälje site.
