Senior Scientist: Analytical Development
Job summary:
The work involves development, validation, and implementation of analytical methods for internal use, as well as support to transfer of analytical methods for external use. Other responsibilities include development of HPLC-MS methods for quantification and structure elucidation of impurities in pharmaceuticals, analytical support to process and formulation development, and release and stability testing of drug product candidates.
Applicants should have a strong interest and expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals using chromatographic techniques, are expected to be independent, structured, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and have strong willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
We want you who have:
• MSc or PhD in analytical chemistry or similar university degree
• Strong experience with method development and validation for analysis of pharmaceuticals, in particular using chromatographic techniques
• Experience with development of HPLC-MS analysis methods for pharmaceuticals, and structure elucidation of impurities by mass spectrometry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Efficiency in documenting and writing reports for internal and external use
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
We would prefer that you have been working in compliance with cGMP/GLP and other regulatory requirements such as the ICH guidelines. Experience from late stage pharmaceutical development projects is a further merit. Additionally, Swedish language communication skills (oral and written) is considered an advantage.
