We are now looking for a Senior Scientist for a long-term consultant assignment at the Drug Product Delivery department at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg. With the right profile and a lot of passion, this might be the start of a fruitful employment at Pema Engineering & Science.

The arena
Drug Product Delivery (DPD) at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg is the only delivery site within AstraZeneca where we package and distribute investigational products to AZ clinical studies around the globe. We are a vital part of the Pharmaceutical Development Supply Chain organization.
The role holder will contribute to the Drug Product Delivery (DPD) organization in Supply Chain by applying material management expertise in the complex and regulated GMP environment.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Responsible for prioritization, coordination and execution of the daily operational work
Ensure that incoming materials are of suitable quality and quantity, received to inventory and available for use on the date required. This requires a close planning and collaboration within Supply Chain
Ensure structure for purchasing, monitoring inventory levels, expiry dates and destruction of materials
Good knowledge of the material management process
Will be responsible for authoring SOPs and perform training activities within area of expertise
Participate in the material management process
Follows SHE and GMP standards, and is accountable for these areas for Material Management
Will participate and contribute to specific functional or cross-functional activities e.g. evaluation, development and implementation of new processes
Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience (>5 years) in a science field
Good knowledge in product development e.g. material management from raw material to final product is desired
Skills and Capabilities
• Demonstrate high degree of personal credibility
• Good planning and coordinating skills
• Good team working skills
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrates supply chain mindset and delivery focus
• Fluent in both written and verbal English and Swedish
