hela Sverige We seek a highly motivated Senior Scientist to complement our existing Drug Product Delivery team in Gothenburg. You will apply expert knowledge in coordination of our Material Management and Distribution (MM&D) tasks. If you have broad coordination or project management experience in combination with knowledge of supply chain in highly regulated industries or Good manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, this could be your next challenge!
Drug Product Development (DPD) within Pharmaceutical Technology & Development is the sole internal AstraZeneca department that packs, labels and distributes investigational medicinal products to clinical trial patients. We support launched, pre-launch and products under development within all our therapeutic areas. We work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and agility enable us to deliver high value to early phase clinical trials.
What you'll do?
In this role you will contribute to the DPD organization by applying your expertise in the complex and regulated GMP environment. The work is focused on coordinating the daily deliveries of our MM&D team.
Your job accountabilities will include:
• Prioritize tasks for the Material Management & Distribution (MM&D) in order to meet deadlines for receiving's and deliveries on a daily basis
• Hold daily Visual Planning-meetings for the MM&D
• Daily/Weekly resource planning responsible for MM&D
• Initiating and driving improvements in our MM&D coordination process
• Collaboration with the team and other parts of the supply chain in order to meet receiving 's and deliveries deadlines
• Leading projects/activities through applying specialist knowledge within appropriate areas
• Act as MM&D representative towards surrounding stakeholders (QA, suppliers etc.)
Required Skills
• BSc/MSc in chemistry/pharmacy/engineering or equivalent experience. Preferably 5 years' experience within pharmaceutical development
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams in a culturally diverse, complex and changing environment both internally and externally
• Demonstrate the drive and energy to deliver projects with a high degree of personal credibility
• Excellent in decision making skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and understanding
Desired Skills
• Great understanding of principles, applications and management of SHE and GMP in an R&D environment
• Understanding the disciplines in Drug Product Delivery, Supply Chain and Pharmaceutical development in order to contribute to an effective Supply Chain organization
