Job description
Our customer is implementing SAP ECC. The current task is to implement new processes and ways of working for large parts of the goods flow (supply chain) as well as for finance and controlling. At the same time, a large number of existing IT-solutions will be replaced by standard platforms to ensure a global, flexible and user-friendly system environment. The new IT-solutions will be the foundation for a business platform enabling continued growth in a long-term perspective for "multi channel" and "multi brand" with well synchronized and efficient processes. This will be done in different steps and over several years.
Your primary tasks are:
• Provide software expertise
• Provide system analysis
• Provide functional solutions and specifications for development of Enhancements, Integrations and Conversions
• Conduct unit testing of the developed objects
• Communicate status effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders
• Use own knowledge/experience and problem solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
• Transfer software product knowledge to customers persons, let them perform system related configuration etc
• Proactively support the project managers with team management
Required competence
The person we are looking for is an SAP Application Expert and should have several years of experience from designing article master or material master solutions in SAP, i.e. configuration of the SAP standard application and definition of functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and data migration.
The following requirements are mandatory:
• More than 5 years of experience of the design, concepts, principles and configuration in SAP ECC
• Thorough understanding of and experience from master data setup in SAP ECC, with special focus on Enterprise Structure as well as Article master and/or Material master
• Inbound and outbound integration know-how regarding SAP ECC
• Experience from large, global organizations
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
You also are a certified SAP Solution Manager.

• Excellent managing of deliverables ("to-do lists"), time management, communication (oral and written), presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong working knowledge of office-related automation tools: PC, word processing, spreadsheet etc.

• Strong team player as well as good ability to work individually
• Socially skilled, non-prestigious
• You like a high working pace and are not afraid to work extra when needed
