As Senior Sales Engineer Foodtech, you will be responsible for successfully developing and growing the FoodTech sales for FlexLink in the Nordic countries, working close to the FlexLink Nordic sales & application team and FoodTech sales & application teams. The role will functionally report to the global FoodTech Sales Manager and operationally to Nordic Sales Manager.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Build robust strategic business relations with the prioritized FoodTech accounts in the Nordic region.
• Identify and prioritize the most relevant business opportunities for best hit rate and business results.
• Apply the DASAC method to specify client requirements, and provide the best practice technical solutions for those requirements
• A customer value based approach will be applied for the technical solutions
• Together with FoodTech application engineering and Nordic application engineering execute technical proposals through system layout engineering or cost estimating of necessary components or modules
• Work tight together with the FlexLink Nordic Fulfillment and Service organization
• Utilize all FlexLink engineering tools available
Ideal Candidate Experience and Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of industrial or construction experience in FoodTech industry, for instance from working at a FoodTech company or at their suppliers
• Master of Science / Bachelor in Engineering
• Product and process knowledge in FoodTech industries
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge in hygienic standards like EHEDG, HACCP, etc
• Sales, presentation and negotiation skills
• Good communicator and team worker
