Assignment
We are looking for a senior safety engineer focusing on autonomous solutions. In this role, you will contribute with your broad experience, working in a team which focuses on both Systems engineering and Safety. The team also works with the global perspective in mind, with sub-teams in both US and EU.
You and your colleagues will work for the strategic and operational realization of safety within the area of Onroad, which means driving autonomously on public motorways. The team tasks involve the following areas;
• Define way of working for safety within VCT
• Define & refine safety work packages
• Follow-up progress of safety work packages
• Review & approve safety work packages
• Define, approve and maintain Safety Case
• Perform safety assessments & audits
You will cover a wide span of the system and will be working closely with the product management team, the developers as well as our system testers, where you also have the possibility to join in vehicle testing.

Which skills and qualifications do you need to succeed?
We are looking for you, a strong team player who is contributing to our common goal by being communicative, showing initiative, and being energized by challenges.
You have a broad technical knowledge and keen to learn and adapt. You enjoy to work cross-functional globally in the organization as well as with our Partner.
Working in this dynamic field of autonomous vehicles you need to be structured but at the same time flexible and eager to tackle new challenges.
For this position we think you have experience in:
• Technical University degree (BSc, MSc, PhD)
• 5-10 years of experience with functional safety within software engineering.
• Knowledge about safety standards and experience of applying safety standards in practice.
• Integration of multiple systems
• Requirement handling and traceability
• Experience in working with improving processes
• Structuring and refining requirements down to a solution
• Legal requirements and regulations
• Driver's license B
• Languages: English in written and verbal communication, Swedish is a plus.
C/CE driver 's license and experience from automotive industry is meritorious.
